Need a snack break? Trail mix is a great treat to reach for instead of processed snacks! Make and customize your own with only a few basic ingredients! A handful here and there throughout the day will help keep mood swings at bay, since you're consistently fueling your body. I hope you enjoy!
Energizing Trail Mix Recipe:
Yield: 2 Cups
Cook Time: 5 Min
Ingredients:
- ½ Cup Shelled Roasted Peanuts
- ¼ Cup Yogurt Covered Raisins
- ¼ Cup Pepitas
- 1/3 Cup Dark Chocolate Chips
- 1/3 Cup Craisins
- 1/3 Cup Shredded Coconut
Directions:
1. Measure out each ingredient into a medium size bowl.
2. Stir trail mix to combine each ingredient together.
3. Add to an air-tight container and store for up to 3 months, enjoy!
Tips/Tricks:
- I like to store many of my ingredients inside of mason jars. They do an absolute great job of preserving the flavors without things starting to taste funky!
- Other Add-In Ideas: M&M’s, Pretzels, Popcorn, Cashews, Almonds, or Chex Mix.
